   @UgLy DuCk Well let me elaborate. She has grown up with a authoritarian parent who clearly lacks empathy & is insufficient in responding to her emotional needs plus overly demanding. This overparenting has made her miss out on a lot of special moments in puberty & emerging adulthood. These are actually the negative consequences she faces. She wants to be perfect in every way but lacks friendship & dating competence. As we all know, vulnerability and emotional openness are crucial to form a relationship but she surpressed her feelings & needs all her life to please her father.
   She also has unrealistic standards for herself & her future partner, which is another result of this overparenting.
   So unfortunately it’s not that easy for her to accept her feelings because of the way she has been raised. Hope this helps.

   @justchillin yeah I get everything and the ego part etc, it’s okay and makes sense. The problem is about her trying to convince herself that she doesn’t love him, while it’s so obvious in her actions, I mean, isn’t love a hearty thing? You just know when you fall in love, what’s all that about then?
   If she accepted it, she could make a clear decision, date him or turn down his feelings. Easy

   It’s so cute. It feels real since she is a doctor and belongs to a rich family so she has her own standards. But suddenly a butcher entered her life and is making her feel weird emotions she never felt before and making her do weird things. Age difference also is a factor between them. She tries to deny and ignores her feelings but is more drawn towards him. Their interactions are soo cute. Some may find her behavior cringe and off but I find it cute TT

    It’s actually normal that she is eccentric & comes off as egotistical. She’s been dancing to her father’s tune for her whole life, she never got the chance to experience what her peers did & now that she broke free, she has to figure out what she wants & accept these new-found feelings & adapt to an unfamiliar environment. The way she acts makes her appear authentical imo 🙂
