Nope, this manhwa is not about demons, it’s just that the young duke (not even yet a teen) has a grown-up, cold and arrogant personality, except when he’s with the young female lead, a 10 year old aspiring knight.
The art is fine, I love how the fl looks.
Up to chapter 10 now, the story is very cute, mostly about the two children playing.
The ml is surprised that he finds it fun to make the fl underestimate him so that she will treat him like a pitiful weak fool. Yes, I am surprised about that too. But it’s the pivotal point of their interactions and makes the story light-hearted.
Even if the ml shows masochistic tendencies, both children are very innocent with no weird sexual tensions, so no worries. The fl can get a little bit annoying – but not unusual for children around this age. I rather dislike how the ml is described as a genius and brillant swordfighter at a very young age – that’s so cliché for male leads…
I don’t get the adults the most though. Her father cringes, but doesn’t clear up even the biggest misunderstandings at all, neither do any of the servants. Even if they grasp that the young duke actually wants to mislead the fl, why don’t they at least drop a hint?
