It shows that he himself is also very confused with his own emotions and do not know how to feel, hatred or love are twisted together in his mind. He can’t just forget how his teammates tragically met their end bcz of her father but at the same time he actually fell in love ( was already) in love with her, the daughter of the man he hates very much. I think it’s quite natural to hate the children of someone you hate, so let’s say someone killed your best friend or so, and you were also tortured and went thorugh alot and then that person who made you like that has a child, would you hate the child too if it resembles the father somehow?
He has some problem with his mentall health, needs theraphy if that exist-
last panel was soo creepy, i dont know what the author wanted to show but it looked like she gave him poison with a straight face ….. lol i’m sure author wanted to show she has become very strong and she can stay calm even in a situation like this but it came out very wrong way lol
Why can’t he just leave Annette alone, I don’t understand if he’s in love w her or smt else, cs when he thinks ab her he gets mad but he then misses her, he honestly confuses me, I wish Annette lives a better life w out smne like him

And I’m literally the most offended by the line “She wants to be a better person”… WTF? She’s already kind, attentive and empathetic; she has nothing that needs improving, but Heiner has destroyed her ego to the point she no longers sees herself with value and I hate it.
This whole damn story is pure tragedy; Annette, who never did a damn thing wrong, gets mixed up with this totally crazy man who traps her and keeps her prisoner for years.
If it were a movie or TV show, this would be a psychological horror
