1. The Duke wouldn’t listen
2. She had no proof but her word – and everything she says will just sound like an excuse to a guy like ML
3. She can’t bring up her deadbeat sister without putting Haniel in danger from the people chasing her and her lover in the first place.
Well as an adopted child myself. I couldn’t see any other parents than my adopted parents.
Somehow I was also blessed to look like Mom and Dad so its was weird for them to tell me I was not their biological child.
Totally understand why this child is in denial of her parentage.
Little girl doesn’t listen, don’t believe FL is not her mother, and ask for help from “bad” guy….. FL who doesn’t talk the same day, now there will be a misunderstanding since she don’t know what Haniel did…. all aside I don’t like drag she could’ve talked the same day but no asked for a week only to say the same thing?
