Of course this is really stupid and ironic because he literally abuses Ruby, he is so obsessed with her that anything he does he thinks he should only do because he thinks he owns Ruby. No one can hit her except him, no one can take care of Ruby as well as him. It’s scary and spoiler in the novel he kisses her and Izek gets really mad at him kind of beats him up idk I’m really scared ngl for that scene.
