to be honest though, i don’t think either raymond or the blonde are terrible people right now? if the roles were switched and blondie was the FL, i guarantee people would take her side instead. it’s an unfortunate situation but i don’t think they’re villains yet.

I’m with you, I have yet to hate them. I may not like the fact he seems to be a bit too stand-off-ish with his childhood friend but he doesn’t seem that bad. I don’t think either of them chose the marriage, it was just expected/needed after the rebellion.
Also, not the best way to introduce the kid but I’m not 100% sure it was on purpose as it may have just been bad timing. Plus I can’t be easy to get a private audience with the king, especially if you have a past. That being said, I’ll eat my hat if the kid doesn’t turn out to be his.
