I’m conflicted. The story is interesting and I want to keep reading but the ML makes me dislike it. When he thought the FL was obsessed with him and was this “ugly” unlikable woman he hated her he could have cared less about her. So he enjoyed his bachelorhood to the fullest before he got shackled to her in marriage. Now that he’s thinking, “Oh, maybe she’s not marrying me because she’s obsessed with me. Maybe she has an actual life outside of pursuing marriage with me. Maybe she’s actually pretty hot and other men actually want her.” Suddenly NOW he’s starting to fall in love with her. It annoys me because too often this type of self absorbed, hyper jealous, hot guy with nothing but a mountain of privilege to offer is painted to be what we should all aspire to get. Like THIS ladies and gentlemen is the epitome of romance and desire. When it’s just not. He’s pretty pathetic and practically assaults her every change he gets just because another guy could possibly think she’s attractive. Still I’m reading this for the drama and the tea more than thinking this is super romantic. There should be another genre to categorize stories like these. Call them Melodramas rather than put them in the romance category.

I’m gonna be honest. I didn’t expect to adore this manhwa?? I kept avoiding this one because the title and the cover seemed so tragic that my heart might not be able to handle. I, then, saw various shorts made by readers on youtube which frightened me even more. I read some spoilers(?) which made me confused so here I am reading and madly in love with it. The art is fantastic!! Our FL’s is so tragic that it made me cry.
