I genuinely love the FL’s personality, she’s smart and calculating and knows how to use the knowledge of the future to her advantage. The art is cute, it’s not outstanding, but it’s better than most.
However, I have a few complaints.
1st one, the story-telling. Although the plot is generic and mostly cliché, which is to be expected with any manhwa these days, it is still pretty interesting to watch her aim for a rebellion. Nonetheless, the execution of what would be an interesting concept is all over the place.
Flora, the prince, and the emperor are the main antagonists but it feels like they have no role within the story.
The FL doesn’t bother to explain her relationship with her family members or her role within the family, at least all I know is that she’s been abused by her personal maid.
And unless I skimmed over something accidentally, there is nothing about how the FL found out about the world being a story or how she met the main characters or what she did to achieve friend status with them.
I don’t know about you but that’s kinda important in a revenge story like this.
The second complaint, the translation. The TL isn’t atrocious but sometimes it can become a little whack and ruin the general vibe of the story.
I get it, it’s only chapter 8 so things might improve later on. But for the time being, it would be nice for some things to be explained. Constant exposition can kill a story at times, yet it’s used to build foundation so it’s pretty significant in my opinion.
